Dymocks Literary Luncheons are back for 2024.
Blackville Public School's Library Regeneration Program
A delivery of 276 brand new books made their way from Dymocks Children’s Charities and found a home in Blackville Public School's Library in North-Western NSW. Principal Kylie Burns commented on the impact of the program saying “The excitement on our children's faces as they unpacked the boxes filled with brand new books was absolutely priceless! Students sought their favourite books, planned which ones they were going to borrow first and talked about which ones were their favourite. Even our senior boys, got involved and commented "This one looks like a good book!”
Dymocks Children’s Charities focuses on creating opportunities to encourage students to develop a love of reading, and Kylie’s comments above paint a beautiful picture of how receiving new and interesting books of choice achieves this mission.

Bluff Point's Library Regeneration Program!
Dymocks Children's Charities was delighted to deliver over 500 new books to Bluff Point Primary School in Western Australia through our Library Regeneration program!
The school's Library Officer, Jess shared "This is an incredibly generous program! To provide students with new and exciting material to open their minds to the joy and adventure that books can bring, was an absolute gift, and one that that will keep on giving for years and years!"

“It is so thoughtful that they gave us all of these books, they will help a lot of kids to read. It has inspired me to keep reading and learning new things.”
“There is such a variety of books to read now. I can’t wait to try new authors and get inspiration for my drawing from the graphic novels. I can also get more knowledge with the new fact books.”
