Dymocks Children's Charities recently supported Clayton View Primary School in Koongamia, Western Australia, with a $7,000 Library Regeneration program. The school community chose 355 brand new books from our carefully curated collection to rejuvenate their library, which Principal Chris Stratton noted had previously housed books dating back over 20 years.
Principal Stratton emphasised the crucial role their library plays in the literacy journey of their 144 students, many of whom lack access to books at home. “Addressing this gap by providing current and engaging titles is central to our Library Regeneration program. We are confident that this new collection will benefit the current students and future cohorts for years to come”.
Here's to many happy hours of reading and borrowing for Clayton View Primary School students!
