Inspired Readers Festival is coming to Port Macquarie

The Inspired Readers Festival is back for its second year, continuing our mission to foster a love of reading amongst young regional Australians connecting primary school students to Australia’s most cherished authors. This festival is about bringing the joy of books and the magic of storytelling to regional communities. This year, we’re excited to take the festival to a new location – Port Macquarie!

Please mark your calendars for the festival commencing on Wednesday 6 November, as we offer an inspiring opportunity for students to interact with their favourite writers and nurture a lifelong passion for reading. The two-day School Author Sessions features an outstanding lineup, including Deborah Abela, George Ivanoff, and our mighty Ambassadors Jacqueline Harvey, and R.A. Spratt.

The festival will wrap up on Thursday, 7 November, with the Fundraising Dinner at The Westport Club, raising essential funds to enrich school libraries in the Mid-North Coast region and increase access to quality books. We’re looking forward to another fantastic festival and can’t wait to see its positive impact on the local community. Learn more!
